He is a graduate of the Indiana University Executive Development Program, a graduate of the National Recreation & Park Association Director's School, a graduate of the National Aquatic Management School, a graduate of the NRPA Revenue Development & Management School and a graduate of Leadership Johnson County.Ĭhip holds professional certifications from the National Recreation & Park Association as a Certified Park & Recreation Executive (CPRE) and as a Certified Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO). He also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Health & Wellness Design at Indiana University-Bloomington, teaching courses in fiscal management of leisure service organizations & recreation facility management.Ĭhip holds a bachelor's degree in Recreation and Park Administration from Indiana University, a Graduate Certificate in Public Management from IU O'Neill School of Public & Environmental Affairs and a master's degree in Recreation and Park Administration from Indiana University. Prior to coming to Franklin, he served as Director of Recreation with Greenwood Parks and Recreation Department (1997-2006) and Director of Parks & Recreation with Edinburgh Parks and Recreation Department (1995-1997).
